The Last Software - UPDATED by Atariboy2600 The Last Software - UPDATED by Atariboy2600
Last night I did a "George Lucas Thing" and went back on one of my old 1997 fanart called The Last Software. In here I took the Last Supper paniting and replace it with The Last Software. some of the well known Video Game Characters from Atari, Nintendo, Sega and the rest. I use the Atari Jaguar as well Im not going to say it if you don't know who he's going to be and so here the other ones from left to right of the tabel and they are Pac-Man, Q*bert, Frogger, Donkey Kong, Mario, Pauline, Kuckles, Princess Sally, Earthworm Jim, Gex and Crash. The first thing I did was to ink the video game gang on copy papers the water color each of them and then I cut out a long cardbord and paint the back drop, Then I cut out the water colored Video Game Characters and glue them on the painted backdrop and also cut cut out some photos of video game consoles from Atari Pong to PS1.

Well its 2005 and I wanted to add some NEW and UPDATED consoles on the pic so I took out the old talbel and re-panit it with just Photoshop and then put the old and new consoles like the Nintendo's Gamecube, GBA, GBA-SP and GBA DS, The PS2 and Sony PSP. And ofcouse the X-Box...

I remember seeing this pic elsewhere and loving it. Wonderful to see you take a classice painting and refitting it into the world of video games. Marvelous and excellent colorings on the characters.

Oh man, it's so very nearly blasphemous, but so very totally funny, that I can forget all about that ^_^ Such a creative idea! I love all the characters and systems you put in here (I was really excited to see the 3DO, as I'm one of the few people who own one of those things ^_^), and you did a great job imitating all the poses from the painting (I have, like, three of the same one in my house). I'm totally favin' this thingy.
